This year we are travelling to Les Arcs and Tignes!

SSX Snowsports is Exeter’s biggest and best society on campus! Known for its unforgettable trips and legendary socials, SSX is the go-to club for anyone who loves skiing, snowboarding, or just having a good time. Every year, SSX take hundreds of students to top ski resorts across Europe for two unforgettable trips - a smaller one in winter and a resort takeover at Easter with 1000+ members. Whether you’re a pro on the slopes or have never touched a pair of skis, SSX has you covered with lessons for all abilities - you can even give the race team a go if you fancy!

But it’s not just about the skiing - we throw some of the best events and socials on campus, bringing the SSX community together for amazing nights out. If you’re looking for good vibes, SSX is where it’s at!

What is student snowsports?

This year SSX plan to be even bigger and even better than before!! They are in the midst of planning their return to Tignes, once again taking over the slope and bringing a taste of Exeter with them. Away from the slopes, they plan to bring apres to Exeter with their socials and keeping the spirit of Snowsports all year round.

SSX are continuing their fundraising goals, raising money for POW as well as planning their biggest Movember and This Girl Can fundraisers yet. They are planning to continue to encourage everyone to access Snowsports and make it as fun as possible with a big focus on boosting their female ski teams and adaptable team.
