Introducing DU Snowsports. Proud to be partners.

DU Snowsports are Trinity College Dublin’s home of all things ski, snowboard and après. We are excited to work with them and their club of 800+ members, known for unforgettable ski trips, Trinity’s biggest parties and socials of every kind, bringing the energy from Dublin all the way to the Alps!

A few words from the committee.

This year we are travelling to La Plagne!

The highlight of the DU Snowsports calendar is our annual trip to the Alps, Ireland’s largest university ski trip, bringing hundreds of Trinity students together for a week of skiing, snowboarding, après and unforgettable nights. Whether it’s your first time seeing a pair of skis or you’ve been on the slopes since you could walk, everyone is welcome!

Back in Dublin, the mountains don’t feel too far away. We run beginner tasters and practice sessions at the Ski Club of Ireland, alongside our annual Colours racing competition against our UCD rivals. Off the slopes, there’s always something happening, with everything from chilled socials and adventures to some of Trinity’s biggest nights out.

At its heart, DU Snowsports is about the people. It’s a club where complete strangers become ski-trip roommates, teammates and best friends. Skiers, snowboarders, adventurers, partiers and everyone in between – there’s a place for you !

Why be part of student snowsports?

What is student snowsports?

For DU Snowsports, student snowsports is all about bringing people together, creating unforgettable experiences and making the mountains accessible to everyone. This year, we’re going bigger and better than ever, with more opportunities to get involved, meet new people and make memories on and off the slopes.

Our ski trip is designed to be the most stress-free ski holiday you’ll ever go on, we organise everything, so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy it. Coming solo? No problem. We help match members for rooms and create plenty of opportunities to meet people before the trip even begins.

That sense of community is what makes DU Snowsports special. We bring together students from different courses, years and backgrounds who might otherwise never meet. Whether you’re here for the skiing, socials, adventure or après, there’s a place for everyone – and an amazing year ahead!
