Swansea Snowriders are one of Swansea University’s most energetic and passionate societies, bringing together students who live for the slopes. We are excited to work with them and their club of adventure-driven skiers and snowboarders.

Swansea Snowriders are Swansea University’s home for all things skiing, snowboarding, and mountain life. The club brings together students of all abilities, from first-time riders to seasoned pros, for unforgettable trips, training sessions, and socials throughout the year.

More than just a snowsports society, Snowriders are a community built on inclusivity, good vibes, and a shared love for adventure. Whether it’s tearing up the slopes, competing in KINGS and BUCS, or bringing everyone together for legendary socials, the Snowriders spirit is all about making memories both on and off the slopes.

What is student snowsports?

This year, Swansea Snowriders are focused on growing the club, building an even stronger community, and making snowsports accessible to everyone. Our Christmas trip to Alpe d’Huez will bring together riders from across the club for an unforgettable week on the mountain. We’ll also be heading on our Easter Trip to Risoul, which we aim to be one of our best trips yet! Visiting a resort we’ve never been to before.

Alongside that, we’re pushing for more riders in KINGS and BUCS events, supporting our local community through Movember and Breast Cancer Awareness, and running exciting socials throughout the year. The committee’s goal is simple. To keep the Snowriders spirit alive by giving every member an incredible experience, whether it’s on the mountain, at competitions, or back in Swansea.
