Wild Haggis, Jimmy Wigs and Bagpipes roam free in the Scottish Capital. The beautiful Edinburgh Castle keeps an eye on everything from its nest high above. Come nightfall the City transforms from its historical, stone setting, to one of the most bustling and lively parties in Europe. You can sample all kinds of experiences, from a wee dram (Whiskey, for you none Scottish speakers) whilst listening to traditional folk melodies in a pub on the Royal Mile. Back in 1993, an Irish bar was opened in Edinburgh, which is now definitely part of the furniture and one of the best bars in the ciy. Biddy Mulligans is somewhere that will definitely provide a lively start to you night out. They provide live music 5 nights a week and have a legendary event once a month called 'Bandoke'. This is like Karaoke but so much more fun. A live band set up on a small stage, armed with a back catalogue of famous hits for you to choose from. Then all that is left to do is grab a pint of the black stuff and fulfill your lifelong dream of being a front man/woman! A great venue, that is always lots of fun!
The Three Sisters
This is our favourite pub in Edinburgh! A huge Edinburgh icon, just off the Grassmarket. The three sisters offers every drink that you could want at amazing prices. This is the number one choice with students and sports fans a like. Three Sisters has numerous screens inside the pub for showing sporting fixtures. There is also a HUGE screen outside, which creates incredible atmospheres on game day. If you cant get a ticket to Murrayfield for a Scotland rugby match, this is the place to come. Watching Scotland v England in the six nations here for instance, is one of the best sporting atmospheres we have ever been in, outside a stadium. Friendly, fun and cheap. Great pub food is served here too! A stones throw from all of the accommodation that we have on offer, this is a fantastic place to socialise and have a wee drink!
If, like us you have an addiction to chicken wings, this is possibly heaven for you! A restaurant where you can sit down with a beer, or a cocktail and pick at over 60 flavours of wings! If you are brave enough there are even 'Man Vs Food' super spicy wing challenges.
A gentleman called Tony Crolla opened this restaurant on Leith Walk, between Edinburgh and nearby Port of Leith. It expanded from a modest pizzeria into a household name in the city. He now even has a fleet of Mini Coopers for deliveries and a Pizza van for external catering. The menu is a wash with Italian favourites, some with a unique Scottish twist. Pizzas are favourite here and they have perfect extra thin bases, just as you would expect a great Italian to provide. Fresh produce goes into lovely Italian dishes. Great atmosphere and delicious food.
Candy Bar and Kitchen
The decor inside this restaurant is very cool. Vibrant colours, cool furniture and innovative lighting, provide a great setting for a casual evening meal. Nothing here is mega fancy or posh, so you receive a perfect relaxed dining experience. The menu is created with fresh Scottish produce and consists healthy, wholesome dishes. Homemade burgers, fresh salads, steaks and even fondue are amongst a few of the items on the well put together menu. After dinner, why not sit in the super cool bar and have a cocktail or two? Located on George street, Candy Bar and Kitchen is in a very central location, perfect for your evening out.

Edinburgh’s nightlife is some of the best in Europe in our opinion. The variety is so diverse, you can be in a traditional pub on the cobbled royal mile, or a state of the art bar or nightclub on George Street. Our bar crawl offers you a bit of everything. The best thing is that you can party like a rock star on a student budget. We have great drinks deals in each bar and a great package. The route takes you through 5 bars and then to an awesome city centre club. You will receive ½ price pints in each venue amongst other drinks deals. The group also receives 3 free shots along the tour, the staple dram of Scotch Whiskey and free entry to the nightclub, to party through the early hours.
