Val Thorens ski resort forms one-third of Three Valleys; one of the largest ski areas in the world with a whopping 600km of snowy pistes to explore and immerse yourself in. Val Thorens, together with Courchevel and Meribel, form the Three Valleys. Out of the three, Val Thorens is situated at the highest point, sitting at 2300m. It is also one of the highest positioned resorts in Europe; which also results in very good snow conditions in the winter seasons. Considering the sheer size of the ski area and the good snow conditions due to its altitude, you can't go wrong when purchasing a ski pass at Val Thorens.

Types of Ski Pass in Val Thorens

There are 2 main types of passes available for purchase at Val Thorens Ski resort which is the Val Thorens-Orelle ski pass and the 3 Valleys ski pass. These ski passes are categorised based on the granted access area you would intend to cover over your ski holiday. The less expensive option is the Val Thorens-Orelle ski pass which grants access to 150km of pistes, while the 3 Valley ski pass grants complete access to the 600km of pistes spanning across the resorts of Meribel and Courchevel. If you were planning to visit Val Thorens for a week or more, we would strongly recommend obtaining the 3 Valleys ski pass for complete freedom of access to all resorts and also ensure you do not miss a thing. Should you have any detailed requests for further inquiries on the specifications of the passes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
