La Rosière Ski Hire

La Rosière Ski Equipment Hire Overview

With fantastic snow covering and slopes reaching altitudes as high as 2,800 metres, La Rosière offers amazing skiing conditions for visiting skiers. It is a picturesque family-friendly resort with the majority of its pistes favouring beginners and challenging intermediates. It shares the 152 kilometre Espace San Bernardo ski area with La Thuile over the border in Italy. Advanced skiers, as well as confident intermediates, can head over the border to La Thuile for more challenging pistes. La Thuile has a wider selection of reds, a few blacks and added off-piste opportunities. Access to the pistes over the border is via the two Bellecombe drag lifts but skiers should ensure to plan the trip accordingly, as the pistes in La Thuile close earlier than La Rosière on most occasions. With a lot of great piste and snow conditions to look forward to in La Rosière, it is important that you are well equipped with the best possible gear to ensure you get the best out of your ski experience.

As will be elaborated further on, ski equipment is not all produced the same way; as the terrain and ability of the users are taken into account during production. This means that before ordering your ski equipment, it will be helpful to be aware of you and your family or travelling groups ability on the slopes and the terrain you intend to ski on. It will go a long way in aiding your decision making whilst considering the right equipment to hire for your holiday.

Over our extensive years in the ski holiday industry which stretches just over 90 years, we have been able to form and establish great relationships with several ski-related industries including ski equipment retailers and equipment hire companies. When hiring your ski equipment from us as part of your package, you can rest assured that you will be receiving the best quality and best prices from some of the most renowned retailers not just in La Rosière but across the Alps.

How much does it cost to hire ski equipment in La Rosière?

The ski hire prices for La Rosière can be viewed during the holiday booking process, on the ski extra’s page and listed under ski hire. At Erna Low, we are fundamentally dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive the best possible quality equipment from reputable brands whilst still receiving good value for money. We partner with well-established ski equipment retailers across the Alps and the prices are competitively set according to the equipment level of performance. In general, ski equipment is grouped into 3 categories of performance levels; Evolution, Performance and Excellence. This is because ski equipment ( ski’s, poles and snowboards in particular) are generally produced to handle varying ski terrain and suit the ability of the skier. The higher the category of the ski equipment, the more advanced the ski ability and difficulty of the terrain. For example, Evolution labelled ski equipment is designed to handle fairly easy terrain and is best suitable for beginners who may spend most of their time on gentle slopes. The ski hire prices will differ in accordance with the category of equipment requested. Feel free to contact us to get a quote or an idea of how much your desired ski equipment may cost.

However, a much more convenient option would be to hire your equipment directly from us, whilst making your ski holiday booking. Children’s ski equipment can be hired from either any of the several ski equipment hire shops dotted around the resort or directly from us online as part of your holiday package. After your overall order has been placed, you will be provided with a voucher that will have a QR code containing the details of your equipment order. The voucher will belong to one of the ski hire companies that we are partnered with at La Rosière.
